mindspace: social journaling

Description

Where mindspaces meet. Whether it's a mundane coffee-shop experience, a subpar movie, stress at work, or holding yourself accountable. This is your mindspace. A place for you to express yourself, to share, and to socialize. A place owned by you ~ meaning you own your data on mindspace. MISSION The most important thing for you to do, is to experience life. There are 3 functions mindspace performs to help you do just that: - maximize expression - improve emotional awareness - socialize & reflect with friends Expression is the most important tool to understand where you are at now, and the direction you need to go. In order to configure your experiences to the highest emotions, you need to critically think what experiences & baggage keeps you where you are now. Journaling. mindspace is a 'social journal', which provides double-benefit because not only can you keep a private journal, you may share entries to friend circles, without separation of focus. ~ A unified place for private and social thought creation. Overall, **all** your thoughts, emotions, experiences are extremely valuable. We hope that mindspace is the place you decide to journal & share on. Below are further descriptions explaining a couple of our features & benefits. EXPRESS WITH SPREN Feelings are integrated into the post-creation process. By pointing out and understanding your feelings, you increase your emotional awareness. This could be any adjective, feeling, or rating associated with a thought. As you describe emotions, your skill of emotional awareness increases, and therefore your emotional intelligence. With a higher emotional intelligence as well as analytics, we hope that you tune to experiences which make you feel higher emotions, as well as strengthen your mind to be happy regardless of the environment. ORGANIZE WITH SPACES Spaces are the topics you want to track & post in. They can be social or private. Below are examples why someone would want to use spaces. For example, - 'recipes' tracking space - track your favorites with ratings, ie 8/10;7/10, expand your culinary vocabulary with new adjectives, ie 'tender', 'meaty' - 'family' experience tracking - Use 'fun', 'excited', 'angry' to understand how you feel from relationships, and work through solutions. - 'study' - Track productivity: log study sessions with 'focused', or let yourself fail and watch movies all day with 'disappointed', 'relaxed', 'fun' Simply, let yourself experience feelings! Good or bad, all is ok to experience. As you allow yourself to express, you will naturally steer toward the experiences which give the best feelings before, during, and after. And become more accepting / resilient toward the conflicts that arise. SOCIALIZE WITH CIRCLES The intent of circles are to encourage you to express and to listen. Each may have its own spaces configuration. Glimpse into others' lives and align yourself with friends who experience life by your side. Circles could be a: - studygroup - family chat - reading group - group therapy circle Join, Discover, or Lead a circle yourself! CLOSING mindspace's original mission was to 'raise the emotions of its users'. Whether through social, private journaling, or the cute spren: We hope that it accomplishes that mission.
